I recently took on another volunteer position (ssssshhh...nobody tell Rob) with the Relay for Life, benefiting the American Cancer Society. I am one of the co-chairs of Advocacy and Mission for the Relay in our area.
I am still feeling out what is involved with this job, and have discovered the group ACS CAN, American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network.
So my first job is to see how many people I can get to email their Congressman, with the help of the website below and ask them to increase funding for cancer research.
